April
Where I left off…The Norway trip concluded with more rain and a random adventure to Stockholm. I was stoked upon my return to Whistler because I was yet again met with powder. Truly the endless winter…. Some spring tours and photo shoots lasted me until the TELUS World Ski & Snowboard Festival where for 10 days I ran around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to be everywhere at once.

As soon as the festival ended I was on a flight back to Colorado to have surgery on my shoulder. Surgery went well…and there’s no better place than home once you get out of an operation. Thanks MOM
The week went fast, thanks to the drugs ,then it was up to Boulder to watch my brother Graduate from the University of Colorado, with honors. Congratulations Char! After a few nights of eating the finest food in Boulder I was off to my house in Mexico to meet up with 8 of my best friends and “rehab” my shoulder. To read some awesome stories about our Mexico trip check out Hereward’s Blog and laugh your ass off! What a trip.
After the Mexico trip It was back to Vancouver for my turn at the graduation celebrations. After a great week with my family and friends plus an excellent ceremony I was a graduated man. What’s next real life?
June
Then the Playoffs…. Not much needs to be said except I planed my entire schedule around the Canucks and partying. Then the city Rioted….
As soon as the riot ended I flew to Colorado for the week. Telluride did the trick as I badly needed to get out of Vancouver. After a week at home I was ready to travel again and I got on a flight to Paris.
My week in Paris was consumed by everything tourist. After eight day’s I’d seen enough. I took the metro to the airport and got a flight to Albania, with a 10 hour stop over in Butapest. Holy Albania. I bet you’re asking why would I go to Albania… well my friend Adam happens to be working over there for the Peace Corps.

After a week hitchhiking around the country I was off to Greece for a hot minute then back to Canada for the Whistler Bike Festival Crankworx. Much like the TELUS Festival in April I once again ran around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to be everywhere at once.
August
The lower mainland was blessed with sun for the first eight days so like any fake half-breed Canadian I went wakesurfing and enjoyed the long days.
On August 9th I flew back to Colorado/Utah to go rafting. My favorite five days of the summer. Great friends, good food and lots of laughing.
After the river I hopped back up to British Columbia where I had four days to move out of my house in Whistler and pack for South America. Then on August 21 I slithered out of bed onto a three flights followed by a 22-hour bus ride that eventually arrived in Patagonia, Argentina. AND IT WAS SNOWING!
